How can I be sure I'm able to connect to my database?

I've set stuff up and I don't have any error messages, but how can I be sure that i'm able to connect to the db. Obviously running a mod that uses the db should be sufficient to test, but I'm not sure I have the mod set up correctly to do this. Is there a command that I can use from the irc chat to test the db connection? If not, does anyone wanna write something up that does this? Have a Great Day! if you use the dcc chat interface the bot will post a 5 min status update to the dcc chat which includes the total number of SQL queries performed |
